October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   Although many risk factors for breast cancer are beyond your control, such as being born female and getting older, other risk factors can be changed by our daily choices.  Learn about lifestyle choices linked to a lower risk of breast cancer. 

In honor of Healthcare Literacy Month, we're sharing a robust resource for better understanding Medicare and coverage resources as we approach open enrollment October 15 through December 7.

We are sending Family Nurse Practitioner, Betsy Mikac, well wishes as she embarks on maternity leave, awaiting the birth of her third child.  While Betsy is out of the office, her patients will be seen by Valerie McDonald, PA-C.  We anticipate Betsy's return to the office in January and hope she has a joyful time with her growing family while bonding with her baby.
